Food-Crete™

Food-Crete™ is a specialist heavy duty water dispersed polyurethane resin system combined with graded silica, designed specifically to meet the demands of the Food and Beverage industry. Food-Crete™ provides excellent resistances to abrasion, impact, chemical attack, inorganic acids, alkalis, and other physical aggression, while providing slip resistance and excellent clean-ability facilitating the highest hygienic surfaces. Food-Crete™ is trowel applied at thicknesses of 6mm, 9mm or 12mm depending upon the level of steam cleaning and thermal shock, top surface appearance is a light mottled aggregate surface with the chosen background colour. Food-Crete™ contains a white aggregate which imparts the slip resistant profile to the finished floor. When first installed, the floor has a uniform coloured surface. However, with general use, the white aggregate will begin to show through giving the decorative, mottled appearance.

Food-Crete™ can be applied over reinforced concrete floors, polymer modified screeds and granolithic concrete, following appropriate preparation and is suitable for all Food and Beverage environments, Production & Processing halls, Brewing, Dairy, Baking, Frying, Meat, Fish, Chill Stores & Blast Chillers, Freezer Stores & Blast Freezers and Changing Rooms. Available in a large standard colour range, other special colours are available if covered by a RAL number.

Food-Crete™ Rapid

Generally as Food-Crete™ but with improved Cure Times Curing Times Pedestrian Foot Traffic 4Hrs, Wheeled Traffic 8Hrs, Full Traffic 12hrs. Please note curing times are temperature sensitive.

Food-Crete™ Ultra Rapid

Generally as Food-Crete™ 6Rapid but with improved Cure Times Curing Times, specially developed for patch repair work where time is limited. Pedestrian Foot Traffic 2Hrs, Wheeled Traffic 4Hrs, Full Traffic hrs. Please note curing times are temperature sensitive.

Food-Cove™

Food-Cove™ is a water dispersed polyurethane resin system combined with graded silica aggregates producing a lightweight trowel applied cove grade material, developed to work in combination with Food-Crete™ to create a fully hygienic seamless floor to wall junction detail and to maintain the same standards of resistance to abrasion, chemical attack, inorganic acids, alkalis, as Food-Crete™. The surface finish appearance is of a finely textured smooth aggregate with a uniformed colour. Food-Cove™ is trowel applied at typical thicknesses of 2mm to 6mm and from typical heights of 25mm to 300mm although greater heights can be achieved if required. Food-Cove™ is stable to steam cleaning and can be sealed if required with 1 to 2 coats of Food-Coat™ where water tightness is necessary. In combination with Food-Prime™, Food-Cove™ will adhere to concrete, granolithic concrete, blockwork, plyboard, mild steel, stainless steel and plastic wall sheeting and is suitable for all Food and Beverage environments, Production & Processing halls, Brewing, Dairy, Baking, Frying, Meat, Fish, Chill Stores & Blast Chillers, Freezer Stores & Blast Freezers and Changing Rooms. Available in a large standard colour range, other special colours are available if covered by a RAL number.

Food-Seal™

Food-Seal™ is a pourable, thixotropic, colour matched (to Food-Crete™), two part, solvent free, taint free, urethane modified joint sealant specifically designed to meet the demands of the Food and Beverage industry and combine with Food-Crete™ for sealing movement joints in flooring applications. Food-Seal™ provides the highest order of durability together with a high degree of flexibility providing up to a maximum movement of 10%. Food-Seal™ is designed as a harder sealant material for a high degree of arris protection. Food-Seal™ is suitable for all Food and Beverage environments, Production & Processing halls, Brewing, Dairy, Baking, Frying, Meat, Fish, Chill Stores & Blast Chillers, Freezer Stores & Blast Freezers and Changing Rooms. Available in a large standard colour range, other special colours are available if covered by a RAL number.

Food-Pro DPM™

Food-Pro DPM™ is a solvent free epoxy based damp proof membrane that has been developed to use in conjunction with the Food-Crete™ range of surface coatings and screeds. It suppresses residual construction moisture and rising dampness in concrete and sand/cement screeds and can be used in situations where the relative humidity level is above 75%. It is applied by brush or roller in one to two coats depending on surface porosity and moisture readings.

Food-Coat™

Food-Coat™ is a solvent free, high build epoxy resin floor and wall coating developed to provide tough and durable protective and decorative properties to concrete, steel and other substrates. Food-Coat™ is an easily applied, chemical and abrasion resistant coating giving a coloured finish. Food-Coat™ has the advantage of a reduced cure time over many other similar products and produces an easily cleaned and hygienic surface which has excellent chemical resistance to water, oils, diluted acids, alkalis and food stuffs. Available in a large standard colour range, other special colours are available, if covered by a RAL number. Anti-Slip and flexible derivatives are available, retaining all the benefits of the standard product. Food-Coat™ Anti-Slip incorporates a fine aggregates within the coating system to give a lightly textured finish to the cured product. Food-Coat™ Flex is designed to hygienically coat gantries where a higher degree of flexibility is necessary.

Food-Prime™

Food-Prime™ is a water dispersible epoxy based primer/sealer/clear coating, especially formulated to meet the technological and ecological requirements of modern building and industrial practice. Food-Prime™ is non-flammable and solvent free, is of low odour, and may be applied to dry or damp surfaces.

Food-Prime™ has excellent adhesion to most building materials, is non-toxic once cured, and consequently is a highly versatile material lending itself to application in many different types of locations and circumstances.
